More polka dots please…

Hello Spring,

It’s been quite a while and I originally decided to apologize for not posting but honestly, I have been living life and busy and I am not sorry for that. My married life has taken over and it’s been great. I’ll work on more posts about wedding planning and honeymoon planning soon.

Today, I wanted to share a favorite look of mine. This simple polka dot jumpsuit that transitions from fall to spring so well. I’ve linked everything below!

I’ve paired it here with a more winter hat because it’s wool and pom poms like these just remind me more of colder months. It would be super cute paired with a fun Panama hat. Also, I’ve paired it with a fall bootie. An awesome pair of clear studded sandals or wedges would look great too!!

This last pic shows it more as a fall look for my girls lucky to live in those colder states! Ps. Have you tried rolled ice cream before???? It’s amazing!! this was the first day I have ever heard of it and let me tell you the obsession is real!

Comfy maxi’s…

Hey friends,

A while back my sister in law turned me onto Soma a rand I had not been familiar with. I always thought they just sold “old lady bras.” LOL To my surprise they have an amazing selection of intimates, lounge clothes, and cute dresses. The clothes are the most comfortable cotton I have ever felt! I got a couple of maxi dresses and a pair of lounge pants that I have been living in.

This knot front maxi is on sale for under $25 in navy. The charcoal I am wearing is sold out. I cannot tell enough how much I have been wearing this maxi. It will transition to fall greatly too! Just through on a long cardigan or denim jacket and were good to go.

On this summer day, I paired it with Tory Burch sandals that are in a two-tone gold/silver and match with everything. I will say the sandals are flat with no support so not the best for walking a long time.

Throw on some fun sunnies (mine are from Quay), put your hair up and you have an easy effortless look!

I’m currently combing through my summer clothes plotting when I can wear them up before the fall season hits! whos ready for fall?

happy shopping!

Miami swim week outfit inspo…

This awesome jumpsuit is only $54 from Vici Collection. They have quickly become my fave online retailer. They have the cutest stuff, reasonable priced, and easy shipping and returns. They feature 20% of codes on IG all the time! I posted about them in my Skort life… post. I’m wearing a small and notice that their items runs TTS and their sizing calculator is very accurate.

There’s nothing I love more than a good jumpsuit… The idea of putting on one thing and having a whole outfit is effortless. The back on this is open and very flattering. Can’t wait to wear this to brunch or another summer event (yes, I’m willing to repeat a good outfit if I’m not seeing the same people, lol).

Knot Dress…

Hey guys!

Man, today got the best of me. I’ve been frantically calling restaurants to try and get something locked down for our rehearsal dinner and as of now, no luck! 😦 Got some more calls to do, but decided to take a fun break and get this awesome dress up on the blog.

I can’t say enough how much I love this dress. It’s flattering with the tie front knot and great for summer! It’s great for work and after… I have to admit I’ve already worn it to work, a happy hour, and lunch with friends! Its funny, I have a tendency to gravitate to the same 3 things when I like them.

This dress is super affordable right now and selling out fast! It’s under $15 on super clearance from Abercrombie so shop it fast! The Knot front dress runs TTS and washes well.

It comes in three colors, I have to confess I just ordered it again in the olive green too.

I wore chunky lace-up heels here, but have worn this with some fun Adidas throwback sneaks which also looked cute! You can have a lot of fun with this look.

Enjoy your Tuesday and as always… happy shopping.

Cool and Casual Summer…

Hey friends,

Happy Friday!! I really needed a weekend come up… this wedding planning has gotten cray real fast! I’ve got this super affordable causal look for summer ready to go. I’ve had this peplum tank. It’s on sale for only $10 and comes in a couple colors. I bought the lilac one shown here and the gray and white stripe. This tank is comfortable and the peplum detailing adds a little more to make it feel like more of an outfit.

These cute white denim shorts are also on sale for under $30. I love that they are mid rise and not to short. They’re a great length for the over 20′ something age and still not quite ready for “mom” shorts!

This look will keep you cool for summer and easy for running errands, lunch with friends, or in my case a quick daytime happy hour!

This girl needs a tan… and I plan on working on that this weekend!

Floral Halter Jumpsuit…

Hi Friends!!

Talk about a hectic Tuesday… Doak (preserve street pup) had some rough play at doggie camp and I had to leave work early, rush him to the vet, and he had to get 10 staples! Luckily he was a braver pup than I was a dog mom and it didn’t seem to bother him one bit. I on the other hand- total freak out mode.

On a positive note, in two weeks he will be back as good as new and I got some time to get a post up!! just in time too 🙂

This amazing jumpsuit is currently sold out in this navy color, but luckily its still available in all sizes in the black version and under $30! I’ve liked it here for you.

I wore this to a friend bridal shower and was super comfortable all day! It runs TTS ( i’m wearing a small). I’d recommend some fabric tape because its a no bra look and could use some security on the side just in case. I didn’t bother and was self-conscious of the side boob showing!

My hat is a staple and fave of mine, older from Hat Attack. I’m sure you all have seen it a lot on the blog. I’ve linked a similar version here.

My sunnies are Ray-Ban linked here! My shoes are Steve Madden older can’t find them online anymore. But I found a similar very affordable pair from Target!! Linked them here ….perfect for summer!

I was scrolling through insta the other day when a forever 21 add popped up… I was going to pass it by thinking I had outgrown the store but man am I happy this skirt caught my eye. It’s part of there contemporary line. So many amazing affordable pieces. I’ve linked my skirt and shirt below… best part this whole look is under $30 on sale!

I love the flow of this skirt. Flattering for any body type and a versatile piece. You can add a white blazer and nude pumps and head to work (great for drinks after), wear how. I’ve shown it for a wedding festivity, throw on a graphic tee and sneaks for a fun casual look, or flats and a denim jacket with cotton tank for a lunch meet up. The options are endless!

I decided to go classic and vintage with some pearl bracelets and a big pair of navy shades! I’ve linked my bracelet below (I’m wearing 2 and a thinner one) and similar sunnies!

If you haven’t gotten into the midi skirt trend… there’s no time better to start then now! And if you’ve given up in forever21 give their site another look. I ordered a bulk order got a ton of great looks for under $200!! Don’t worry I’ll share them all here on the blog 😉.

Happy almost Friday!
